Read the New York Times Online—both in the Library and from the comfort of your own home!

When you are in the library, go to https://www.nytimes.com, and log in using your NYTimes.com account. If you do not have an account, you can create for one by clicking the “Register Now” button in the top-right corner of the header.

For off-site access, follow this link and click the “redeem” button. You will then be asked to create a NYTimes.com account or log-in to an existing one. Once you have done so, you will be granted unlimited 72-hour access to NYTimes.com. If you would like to continue reading beyond the 72 hours, simply return to the Library’s website and complete the redemption process again to renew your access.

Once you have created and authorized your NYTimes.com account, that log-in information can be used on any official New York Times apps available on your devices.

For both in-Library and off-site use, you may be asked to subscribe to the New York Times newsletters as part of the account registration process. If you wish to decline, simply click the New York Times logo at the top of the page, and you will return to the homepage.
